Middle School Students:
PLEASE NOTE WE CURRENTLY HAVE A WAITLIST FOR 6TH AND 8TH GRADE FOR THE 24-25 SCHOOL YEAR
How to APPLY for Middle School
Step 1: COME MEET US
- Please schedule a time to join us for a shadow visit. We believe spending time on campus is a vital part of seeing what we have to offer. Click here to schedule. Earlier shadow days are reserved for prospective high school families who have an earlier application deadline.
Step 2: TIME TO APPLY
- Applying to Chaminade is simple! Just click here to create an account in a Parent Portal that takes you to our application.
- Chaminade also accepts the EMA/SSAT Standard Application Online but you will also be required to complete Chaminade's application. The application fee is waived if you have already paid through the EMA/SSAT system.
- You will be asked to upload an educational evaluation, if applicable, along with your application. After uploading the educational evaluation you will be able to schedule a meeting with the Middle School Learning Consultant on the Parent Portal.
- If you are interested in Financial Aid please review the Financial Aid Page. Financial Aid is no longer available for 6th and 8th grade for the 24-25 school year.
- A $50 application fee is required.
Step 3: WE NEED YOUR TRANSCRIPTS!
- Please sign and submit the Transcript Release and Teacher Recommendation Form to your son's current school. A teacher recommendation is not required but is appreciated. Your school will send Chaminade your son's official transcripts, test results, and information from the past three years.
Regarding Testing:
Chaminade requires a current, national standardized test, such as the Iowa Basics/ITBS, MAP, Stanford Achievement, or ERB for admissions review. Although not required, we do accept the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT). Please visit www.ssat.org to register. Test scores may be sent directly to us by entering Chaminade as a recipient. We will evaluate the most recent test in the student's academic file.
Step 4: SCHEDULE YOUR FAMILY MEETING
- Once you've applied to Chaminade via the online application, you'll see a link in your application checklist on the Parent Portal to sign-up for a Family Meeting with a member of our Admissions team.
High School Students:

- Students attending Catholic grade schools must complete the Chaminade application AND a form required by the St. Louis Archdiocese which releases your transcripts. The form will be made available in the fall. You MUST select Chaminade as your first choice for Chaminade to receive your records.
- Students attending public, private, or Illinois schools are not required to complete the St. Louis Archdiocese Application Intent Form. You MUST sign and submit the Transcript Release. Your school will send Chaminade his official transcripts, test results, and information from the past three years.
